Welcome to my website! Thank you so much for your interest in “Greg Frank’s BBQ Rubs”.

Please allow me to share with you a little bit about myself, my Central Texas BBQ roots, and the story of how my signature rubs came to life.

My passion for BBQ started at a young age in Central Texas. Around the time I was 6 or 7, you could always find me hanging out somewhere near a BBQ pit. Whether it was cooking with my dad, one of my uncles, or at one of the many social events in the surrounding communities, BBQ has always been a way of life. By the time I reached high school I had mastered the art of Central Texas BBQ.

It was with this same passion in my 20’s that I went on to create my own signature flavor and BBQ rubs. Word spread through family and friends on how tasty my BBQ was and before I knew it, I was in high demand for parties, events, and fund raisers. Folks everywhere loved the flavor of my BBQ.

It was at one of those events that a friend asked why I had not tried competing in BBQ cookoffs.  I took those words of encouragement and entered my first sanctioned event. I never dreamed that I would walk away with a 1st place win at my very first event. I was hooked!

From there I continued to use my signature rubs to win various 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for brisket, ribs, and chicken. After a year of competing, I went on to enter the  San Antonio Rodeo BBQ Cook-off, where I walked away with the GRAND CHAMPION award for the entire event. What a thrill!

Since then, I have won many awards in the competition circuit with my signature rubs. Even though I only do a couple of events per year, my winning flavors continue to please the crowds. Through the encouragement of others and my continuing passion for BBQ, I am able to share with you those exact same winning recipes today.
